1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website or engaging Distinctive Cleaning Services ("we," "us," or "our") for residential or commercial cleaning, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. Services
Distinctive Cleaning Services provides residential and commercial cleaning services in the Tampa, Florida metropolitan area, including Tampa, Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Lutz, Land O' Lakes, and Odessa. Our services include but are not limited to:
- Regular house cleaning (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly)
- Deep cleaning
- Move-in and move-out cleaning
- One-time cleaning
- Retail and commercial cleaning
- Hospital and healthcare facility cleaning
Service availability, pricing, and scope may vary based on location, property size, and condition. Specific service details will be confirmed during the booking or estimate process.
3. Booking and Scheduling
Services can be booked through our website, by phone, or by email. By booking a service, you confirm that:
- You are authorized to grant access to the property to be cleaned
- The information you provide (address, contact details, special instructions) is accurate
- You understand and agree to the pricing discussed or quoted for the service
We will make every effort to accommodate your preferred schedule. Appointment times are approximate and may vary slightly due to factors such as traffic, weather, or the duration of prior appointments.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand that schedules change. We ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. This allows us to adjust our team's schedule and offer the time slot to other clients.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee
- Repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows may result in a required deposit for future bookings
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a service due to emergencies, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will notify you as soon as possible and reschedule at no additional cost
5. Pricing and Payment
Pricing for our services is based on the type of cleaning, property size, condition, and any special requests. Quotes are estimates and final pricing may be adjusted if the scope of work differs significantly from what was described at the time of booking.
- Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been agreed upon in advance
- We accept payment methods as communicated during booking
- For recurring services, billing will follow the agreed-upon schedule
- Additional charges may apply for services that require extra time or specialized cleaning beyond the original scope
6. Access to Property
You are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the property on the scheduled cleaning date. This includes:
- Providing keys, access codes, or other entry instructions as needed
- Securing pets in a safe area during the cleaning service
- Removing or securing personal valuables and fragile items
- Ensuring a safe working environment for our cleaning team
If our team is unable to access the property at the scheduled time, a lock-out fee may apply.
7. Satisfaction Guarantee
Your satisfaction is our top priority. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our cleaning service, please notify us within 24 hours of service completion. We will arrange a re-clean of the areas in question at no additional charge.
The re-clean guarantee is subject to the following conditions:
- The concern must be reported within 24 hours of the completed service
- The issue must relate to areas included in the original scope of work
- The property condition must not have been altered since the cleaning (e.g., a party or event)
8. Liability and Insurance
Distinctive Cleaning Services is fully insured. In the unlikely event that damage occurs to your property during a cleaning, please notify us within 24 hours. We will investigate the claim and take appropriate action, which may include repair or replacement of the damaged item.
- We are not liable for damage to items that are improperly secured, pre-existing damage, or items of extraordinary value that were not disclosed prior to the service
- We are not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions such as loose fixtures, weak surfaces, or faulty equipment
- Our liability is limited to the cost of the cleaning service or the fair market value of the damaged item, whichever is less
- Claims must include photographs and a description of the damage
9. Client Responsibilities
To ensure the best possible service, clients are expected to:
- Provide accurate information about the property and any special cleaning requirements
- Disclose any known hazards, infestations, or biohazardous materials at the property
- Inform us of any areas that should not be cleaned or require special handling
- Maintain a safe environment free from hazards for our cleaning team
- Treat our staff with respect and professionalism
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if the property presents health or safety hazards to our team, or if our team is treated in an inappropriate or disrespectful manner.
10. Healthcare and Commercial Facility Terms
For hospital, healthcare, and commercial cleaning services, additional terms may apply:
- Cleaning protocols will adhere to applicable industry standards and regulations
- The facility is responsible for disclosing biohazard areas and any special compliance requirements
- A separate service agreement may be required for ongoing commercial contracts
- Our team will follow all posted safety and access protocols at your facility
11. Non-Solicitation
You agree not to directly hire or solicit any employee or contractor of Distinctive Cleaning Services for private cleaning work during the term of our service agreement and for a period of 12 months after services end. If this provision is violated, a referral fee may be assessed.
12. Website and Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design elements, is the property of Distinctive Cleaning Services and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without our prior written consent.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Distinctive Cleaning Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
14. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Hillsborough County, Florida.
15. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
